Aaron Finch is an Australian cricketer. Finch’s best-known record is in the Twenty20 version of the game. He has also played one-day cricket for Australia. He scored 172 runs against Zimbabwe in a Twenty20 match on July 3, 2018.

This made him the second Australian cricketer to score two centuries in Twenty20 internationals. He holds the record for opening batsman scoring the most T20I runs. He is also the record holder for the highest individual T20I score by an opening batsman, has been the captain of his team’s winning run against Zimbabwe.

Aaron James Finch was the son of Gary and Sue Finch. He was born in Colac (Victoria), Australia, on November 17, 1986. Finch was raised in Victoria with his siblings Mat and Jess Finch. During his early days, Finch played as a wicketkeeper-batsman.

He was a junior cricketer who played for the Colac West Cricket Club. In 2006, Australia selected him to represent the country at the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka.
